I have a couple of Promasters.  An FTD5700 and an FTD7000M.  Although they have 
both developed a couple of quirks in that their tilt and swivel isn't working 
quite as it should (seems to be some dirt in the mechanism), likewise the base 
won't come off the 7000M.  

The problems are an annoyance, but not nearly as much of an annoyance in 
something I paid $20 or $50 for as in something I paid $300 or so for.
