Facebook sucks, but it has it's uses, and not all of them are just wasting time. I avoided getting a FB account for years but was cajoled into getting one for a high school reunion some years back. When I got there I found that it was the communication medium of choice for the vast majority of people in my meatspace social circle. All of a sudden, I was getting invitations to parties, rather than just hearing about them the following week. When I post photos of a social event, the vast majority of the people in those photos "just see them" due to mutual people tagging them in the photos. Every so often, I get an invitation to some stupid online game, or app, on facebook, and I have to block that app, and it disappears from my world. I've learned that you simply do not install any app on facebook, or bad things will happen. But, as long as I use it, rather than letting it use me, it has its advantages. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
