Graywolf, If that's the case, then you'll have to conform your code to spec. If your code is to spec, then you'll have no problem per se.
For example, at my current employ, we have to ensure that code is appropriate for browsers from IE 4.0 and Netscape 4.0 and up. If the end user is using IE 3.0 (which, STILL occurs, trust me...) then they're SOL. Personally, even IE 4.0 is old and shouldn't be supported but we do bend because many of our clients are senior citizens and sometimes feel that they shouldn't need to upgrade if they don't want to. You can't please the entire world (although most Pentax users would disagree once they get their hands on a 50mm f1.4 :) ) especially when it comes to Web design/layout/coding. If the page is in standard HTML, you should have no problem as long as you stick to spec. It's once you get into using JSPs, Cold Fusion, and in some cases, even XML or ASPs that you'll get into trouble.
