Francis,

The M 135mm f3.5 is a small, sharp telephoto. It is really too hard to work with for
indoor portraits. It takes you too close and is too slow. I've used it most outdoors
to photograph landscapes and things. It makes it easy to isolate your subject matter
from the rest of the clutter. Kids or candids can be good as this lens moves you far
away from most people's personal space and makes you unobtrusive. Of course, this
means you are not taking Shel's kind of candid people photos! <g>

I'd guess US$50-65 for a clean sample on eBay.

I have used and like the M 35/2.0 lens. It is small, compact and delivers good
results. The extra speed is a plus. Have you considered a K or A24/2.8? I would
stay away from the 28's except for the old K28/3.5.

Regards, Bob S.
