I just finished reading this damned review, and while I can nit pick with the best of them, but could these pissants be any more annoying? Well at least they did a review, DPReview will ignore
these cameras until they are superseded.
What upsets you about it? The end result is that Pentax released two new camera models in an attempt to get their loyal adherents to upgrade to an expensive new camera for a difference in quality that is very small and unlikely to be realized or noticed by most users.

Considering there was not an earth-shaking difference between the 3 models is that surprising?

Pentax was already discounting the K-5 by a huge margin. Now because they can do hardly anything else they want to sell what are essentially K-5's at a higher margin.

What bothers me is that it's a useless waste of electrons that didn't really give me any more information than I had before. It was a waste of 20 minutes that I'll never get back but I kept reading just in case there was some nugget of knowledge hidden in it that I couldn't have figured out ahead of time without ever handling the camera. It bothers me that the author didn't seem to know that it was a stopgap until the K-3, (or whatever it will be called), with either a 24mp APS-C or FF sensor is announced and seemed surprised that the imaging train hadn't changed except for the lack of the afore mentioned filter. I sincerely hope that it was a volunteer effort as it would offend me even more if the author had been paid for producing it.

That's why I start reading all reviews (including the ones from dpreview) at "Conclusions" and then base my decision to read the rest of it on that.
