The 645 was a studio or field camera, but I think the 645D is very much
seen as a field camera by Pentax. I also don't think that the imaging
sensor in the 645D even supports live view. The Hardware in the K-5 and
K20D might support Live View through the USB tether, however the
firmware doesn't. Maybe somebody has produced a hacked firmware version
that would allow them to work that way. I think that USB 2.0 probably
supports the bandwidth necessary, but I'm really too lazy to look up the
specifications and do the math today.

Very true, PJ.
Thanks for the input P.J.
Pentax seems to be developing ONE studio camera, though - the 645D.
I think the RAW converter companies (Lightroom, Phase One) could very well make
tethering software and tool for third party brands (not just Phase One, Leaf)
of cameras.
I am a Capture One 7 Pro user, so that would be very nice.
My next try will be to try to install Pentax Remote Assistant on an XP computer.
And see how it turns out:-).
Meanwhile I'll be using PK-tether :-)
