Hmmm...
I just read about Apple uninstalling old Java versions from Macs, and both Apple and Oracle keeping silent about why. Newest version was left operable, afaik. But I have no idea if this automatically applies to Firefox too. You may need to disable the old versions manually. Firefox will list all the installed versions of Java among the Extensions.

Subject: ot browsers

Ok, so i'm sure every one knows i'm geek challenged, but just throwing
this out there as i have checked everything i know to check.
I have several problems with fire fox, ya really i do:-), that do not
happen in safari. In fire fox i cannot access any of the buttons in
photo dot net to up load pictures, but everything works in safari. On
FB several of the games i play, one being songpops, the songs do not
load, but everything is fine in safari. Any ideas, preferences to turn
on or off. I'm stumped. Firefox version 17. something. I thought
upgrading to the newest version a few weeks ago would help but nope.
