Yeah, I have 17. something and several little things are flooey...

aside to Steve H, e.g., I couldn't use the hotlink to get to several recent images here, including Walt's latest sunset, and something of Boris's - but when I used cut and paste it worked... also there
are some wrinkles on facebook playing WWF -although WWF has been
flakey across browsers for the last 24 hours or so.

been there a lot as I'm down with my annual winter cold and feel too much like a zombie to do anything but play.

(in order to cut and paste a hot link, i do have to "reply" first
so the hotlink is indented. I can't start highlighting it -in front- of the link because almsot all of them come up left-justified.)

Heard something about problems with Java recently - a bug? a
virus danger? forgot just what.

I'm thinking that the Firefox devs broke something in a recent update.
My wife was having trouble uploading a story to a creative site a few
days ago and their support techs told her to try Chrome instead. That
worked fine.

FF may be becoming the new IE. ;-)

this out there as i have checked everything i know to check.
I have several problems with fire fox, ya really i do:-), that do not
happen in safari. In fire fox i cannot access any of the buttons in
photo dot net to up load pictures, but everything works in safari. On
FB several of the games i play, one being songpops, the songs do not
load, but everything is fine in safari. Any ideas, preferences to turn
on or off. I'm stumped. Firefox version 17. something. I thought
upgrading to the newest version a few weeks ago would help but nope.
