Although I'm a moderately heavy Mac user (my laptop is one), my primary computer is Linux and I'm most comfortable working on Linux. Last summer it took me some time to even start with RAW editing because Ubuntu didn't come with a RAW converter new enough for the P7100 (had to download and compile the source). Is there something wrong with being a little conservative until I'm up to speed on the new workflow? What's it costing me? (Just to be clear because it got trimmed out of the conversation, I'm shooting RAW+ with high-quality JPEGs.) One other point: some people have mentioned using photos on Android/iOS, where the same issue with the P7100 is likely to come up (RAW convertor not updated when you need it). -- Hugs and backrubs -- I break Rule 6 http://rule6.info/ <*> <*> <*> Help a hearing-impaired person: http://rule6.info/hearing.html -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
