I'm going to have to read that review again to get my head around what it's really telling me. I think the answer to my question might be in there, but I had trouble figuring it out first time through.

The form factor *might* not be a problem. I'll have to get a tape measure out and actually measure my workspace.

Lack of suitability for calibration is the very thing that's not working for
me using the HDTV.

experience with calibrating large IPS monitors? Other thoughts?
