The Times "pay" window seems somewhat arbitrary at times in regard to
when it decides to close. You may have reached the free-read count.
Sorry about that. It's unfortunate that newspapers have to charge for
web access, but that seems to be the only way to make things work
financially.

Doubly unfortunate if that's what it is. The NY Times screwed me over
the first time they implemented paid access and I refuse to be taken by
them again.
