Yes, it sounds like: Improved contrast AF performance. Improved stability for general performance. Note: When update is executed, the camera settings will be returned to default settings. I think it is interesting that apparently the Q10 and the Q are different enough that the firmware is not identical and also that firmware improvements keep coming after the camera is discontinued. I keep hoping for a firmware update that would give focus peaking capabilities to the K-5.
