Good sign. People seem to need to have the  obvious stated.

I've been thinking for some time they should have similar  signs in 
Yosemite at the top of the falls, so people won't go in the water and  over the 
edge. Maybe they do have some.

Something like:   The  pool's stillness is deceptive:  25 feet away is a 
fatal drop off of 675  feet. (Or whatever the figures are.) Better than, just 
stay out of the water.  

But I also think they ought to require some standards for foot gear for  
hiking Half Dome and park a ranger at the bottom to check people's feet.  
(Unfortunately, no money for that kind of thing.)

Too many people think  it's Disneyland and not nature. But even Disneyland 
has those signs that say if  you are shorter than this sign you can't go on 
the ride.
