I don't *know* anything about it, but I'd be willing to bet money an
endoscope is involved somehow.

A strange lens indeed. Focus limiter? No macro? Hmmm. Might be rare,
though the box and packaging would indicate mass production. Maybe an
aftermarket mod? That would be my guess....

This one is new for me. I have never seen a FA50/1.7 with lock screw.
It isn't even listed at
http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/primes/normal/index.html , but the
user manual in the picture suggest it is made by Pentax.
Does someone here know more about it?
