Thanks, Paul. I took off yesterday morning as well and never took a camera out of the bag. At least the late afternoon turned out nice.

I just realized I should have named that photo "the gnat's eyebrows..."

The subject is between 3 and 4 mm long. On the Q a 1.25x image (easily done in 
the field) is close to frame filling. On a full frame camera it would take 
about 7x lifesized to fill the frame., I regularly shoot snow crystals at that 
magnification, but that is a stationary setup with controlled lighting. It 
would be very difficult to do outdoors, with a live subject.
