I haven't shot that roll of HIE yet -- haven't gotten out of Nicosia
yet -- but I've started posting pics (mostly low-effort snaps) from
the *itD on FB & Twitter, if anyone's interested. (Anything I'm
really pleased with, I'll post about here separately. These are
mostly "keep the folks happy at home who requested photos and
blogging" shots. Though I am becoming fond of the mating grasshoppers
photo.)

So far it's all *istD, and will remain _mostly_ so, but I'll be posting
some photos from Mom's iPhone in a little while.

As I was unpacking and repacking my carry-on to try to make everything
fit, my sister snarked, "You don't need five lenses and three cameras
to go on a trip!" Welllll... I wound up bringing mostly TMZ, TX, and
low-speed C41 & E6; not much fast colour. And I found myself wanting
to have the TX in the K2 for indoor shots of my cousin's house (designed
by another cousin, an architect for the city) and RG25 in the body I
left behind, for exteriors on a wicked-bright sunny day. *sigh*
I also desperately need a wide-angle lens. The 28-135 is _almost_
wide enough on a film body, not even close to wide enough for houses
on the *istD. Someday ...

My sister didn't know about the Holga I'd snuck into one of Mom's
bags.
