Boston.com's "The Big Picture" page is always good but their photos from yesterday are amazing. Some are a bit gruesome, so keep that in mind if you're squeamish.

The overall composition is brilliant (though it's obviously cropped) but notice it was snapped at the moment the second bomb exploded - visible in the background. The runner in the foreground was knocked down but not injured. He'd just run a 3:50 marathon.
