For portraits definintely the 165 F4 LS for me. Haven't bought mine yet (soon though) so I can't remember whether or not an extension is required. I've also done portraits very successfully with the 105 F2.4 that came with my 67II. Sometimes requires a bit of cropping but there's *plenty* of room on the negative for that. Cheers!
