The portrait lens of choice has to be the 165/4 leaf shutter. Particularly if he wants to use fill flash in outdoor settings. Of course the 150/2.8 is a very good lens, and can be had at very good prices. BTW, a nice 6z7 was sitting at about $250 and no reserve this afternoon with just a couple of hours to go.
