On 18/4/13, Paul Stenquist, discombobulated, unleashed: >I guess I should be embarrassed to admit that I don't know what an Epson >RD-1 might be, but somehow I'm not. And if someone would give me one, >I'm sure I could have fun with it, but I would never buy one.
Not a problem Paul. It's a digital rangefinder camera and uniquely has a winding lever to cock the shutter! Takes Leica M mount lenses but has a pretty ageing 6mp sensor. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epson_R-D1> <http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/cameras/epson-rd1.shtml> I had one for a few years. They are still out there, bit of a cult now. A real rangefinder that doesn't cost as much as a Leica. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ Broadcast, Corporate, || (O) | Web Video Producion ---------- <www.seeingeye.tv> _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
