Boris,

I have one of those at work and one at home, and like them a lot.

I calibrated them with an i1 Display.  Out of the box, they are brighter,
bluer, and contrastier than when properly calibrated, though not grossly so.

Cheers,

Rick

Subject: Bought new monitor - have questions

Hi!

My old (like 10 years old) Philips monitor finally expired. To that end
(or should I say - to its demise :-) ) I bought a new screen. It is Dell
U2410. It has pre-calibrated Adobe RGB and sRGB profiles and even comes
with its own (specific to this sample) color calibration factory report.

My question is then: do I re-apply Spyder2? or do I just use one of the
profiles? If not Spyder2 - then which profile - Adobe RGB or sRGB?

Thanks.

Boris
