That reminds me, I have to do the laundry

When I do Laundry I invariable end up with two sock categories -
a few that match and a bunch that don't - there is a large bag
of unmatched socks in the bottom of my closet. once it fills up
I spill it out on the bed and play the match game. If there
are still unmatched socks, they go under the sink for rags.

Don't get much inspiration for photo'ing them tho

out of clean socks.

In college, all of my socks matched. They were all white, with colored stripes.

Darn it! I think the PDML should collaborate on a book about socks, with
illustrations, and reproductions of each of our sock catalogues from the early
years to late middle age, some exciting stories about mismatched pairs and the
shades of pink they come out of the washing machine, and statistics about which
sorts of flooring wear them out soonest. I'm sure it would sell well.

We could call it Socks and Rugs and Socks with Holes.

Why not simply "The Joy of Socks"?
