In Windows it's in a folder for the editor separate from the Organizer with a file name PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe. If that's not there, you might need to reinstall PSE.

Dave, try this:

1) open Lightroom 4
2) go into Lightroom Preferences
3) click external editing in Preferences (it's the third tab at the top, in
between presets and file handling)
4) in the box marked additional external editor, look for Application
5) click on the little button labeled choose
6) when choose opens, click on Applications
7) Choose Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 (i have photoshop elements 11)
8) Choose supported files
9) Choose Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app--this is the key point
here--choose this!!
10) then click choose in the lower right hand corner

I have done this Christine, but i do not see the Editor.app any were.

The above might work, but no promises. When I got Elements 11, I couldn't get
a lightroom file to open in the photoshop elements editor. Then with some
research on the net, I learned about this. Now I can open the file in the PSE
editor as opposed to the PSE organizer. But saving the file next to the
lightroom original for some reason never seems to work. I have to export from
PSE 11 then reimport into lightroom. Maybe someone knows the trick to get the
file saved/stacked next to the lightroom original in lightroom 4--even though I
have this option ticked in Lightroom 4.

Other than this procedure , I don't have any other ideas.

Cheers, Christine
