Housing splatter refers to the development of suburban housing tracts around many U.S. cities in the 1950's-60's. The 81 seals localizes the comment to the west coast, quite possibly Monterey region. So I am thinking that the unveiling of the next-gen camera will take place at a meeting/conference out there . . .
