I forgot to mention that when I went to read the photos of the sensor test, lightroom would not write them to disk. Something seems to have gone wrong, this evening, with the disk that I'm writing my recent files to. Meanwhile, my "other system" the one that I back up my sorted photo files to, is off at a friend's house, waiting for him to have the time to set up the raid, install CentOS, and set up apple networking so it can work as a NAS. I do have the unsorted copies of the raw files, that get backed up on initial read, and the disk seems to still be readable, but I'm not feeling very comfortable about my files right now.
