Beach Camera has been around for 3 or 4 decades and would advertise prolifically in the Photo Magazines in the days of yore before the Internet. I believe they are a good legitimate Store or were. I only hope these K-5s are not returns, not that they are bad, just that I wouldn't want one, as the earlier models were jinxed. It is at these times that businesses take advantage or an unfortunate hit. And with so many current + new models around the obsolete K-5 prices are bound to take a beating. I myself bought one with the 18-135 WR Lens for CAD 1108 from Henrys of Toronto this January. Luckily it was brand new - shutter count 1 - and made by Pentax-Ricoh, NOT Pentax-Hoya. Nevertheless the obsolete K-5 remains a formidable machine - if it works. Regards. Bipin.
