Don't know about Ricoh killing off Pentax: in today's edition of the "The Australian" (our national daily broadsheet) "Wish" magazine, which is the highest quality publication in Australia, Pentax Australia are advertising the GR as a Pentax camera. No loss of brand name there, in fact it's the first time I've seen them going for the demographic which wears Dior, Givenchy, Piaget, etc., and has the money to do so.
