Darren, a final determination of whether this is a Sharp-shinned or Coopers Hawk was easily made with the help of this web site http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Sharp-shinned_Hawk/id the audio of the Sharp-shinned cry nailed it.

Being able to tell the difference between a young Sharp Shinned Hawk
and a young Coopers Hawk is just *one* of the ways that you are a

Very nice. Did you add grain to the background?

Thanks Bob. The grain was automatically added by using the K20D @ 800!
The background was rendered that way by using the 300 FA @ f/4.5
