Eric, I've LR 4.4 or whatever is the last one before 5.0. I've no Java
at all and everything works. It is therefore my suggestion that you
check whether you have a plugin or add-on of some kind that requires Java.

Background: A couple days ago I uninstalled Java. First time I started
Lightroom afterwards I learned that it requires Java. I've since reinstalled
Java, but now I get this error message.
If anyone has a clue what might be going on it would be appreciated.
