Not quite as convenient as adaptall, but pretty sweet nonetheless.
I know that sigma's reputation has historically been a bit uneven,
and I have a love/hate relationship with my 20/1.8, but they are
making lenses in focal lengths and speeds I wont and that Pentax
isn't making. Want a new 85/1.4? You have your choice of Samyang
or Sigma. Want an f/1.4 standard for your APS Pentax? You have
your choice of Sigma.
I have 4 Sigma lenses - 10-20mmf/3.5 to something or other, 30mmf/1.4,
50-500mm (the Bigma) and a 300mmf/2.8. The 50-500 has been a bit of a
disappointment, but the others are quite nice.
I don't think any of them are in the series just announced as eligible
for mount conversions though.
