I am very pleased with the Sigma 18-250 DC HSM OS lens I bought in late 2011 for my then new K5. It compares very well with the Tamron 18-250 which I believe Pentax also sold under its name) that is on my wife's K100D.

So Pentax is in fact included... It would seem that Sigma is skyrocketing to become the most desirable lens brand - at least in terms of versatility, diversity and user-friendly useful features. Also, it seems that their recent lenses are just as good optically as anything else out there, so Sigma gets my thumbs up.
