I prefer the original 'crop'. It somehow seems to reflect/support the
feeling you get from her expression. An emptyness or loneliness or
reflection on something intense?

Actually it was shot to check the exposure, primarily of the background.  
I cropped it that way because I happen to like portraits with a lot of
negative space, and to cut out the backdrop stands and other detritus that
was in the original shot.

But, I was willing to try a more conventional crop, do you like this one
better?
