Thanks, Ken. You know, I had thought of contacting the area ranger &
suggesting just that - mounting some dead tree trunks at intervals along the
outside edges of the causeway. They would be a better vantage point for the
kingfishers (the smaller pied variety were also present) and allow more
natural photography. On the other hand, I could try some extreme
photo-shopping.
