Have you considered some night-time game photography? The other evening I
saw a wild life documentary shot in Kenya with night-time IR footage of
elephants. They appeared almost black with white ears which are their air
conditioners. Very cool. All animals will have their hot spots, even
humans. I'm quite interested in giving it a try.

It turns out that I missed the band that sounded the most interesting,
so I decided it was a good chance to practice with the IR rig. Some were
taken with the flash, some without. At some point I should probably
experiment
with using a green filter to compensate for the IR magenta tint in the full
spectrum photos.
Most were taken with the 18-250, a few with the 8mm bowers.
