...Where in Idaho are you?  I'm in Salt Lake....

I had one of the 35-80 on my old PZ-70...it worked well. Haven't had any
problems with my 28-70...feels ok for an AF lens. I do not like the 'loose'
feel of any AF lens. I still enjoy the nice smooth feel of a manual focus
lens.

I'm up in Boise, Idaho. Weather has been so nice...I'm looking forward to
outdoor photography in the sun again.

By the way...if you use a hood on the 80-200 4.7-5.6, do you use a rubber
hood? I find I don't like rubber hoods as much for AF lenses.
