I've been running OSX 10.6.8 for years, and Aperture 3 works fine. I'm at 3.0.3 
now. It and my 24" 2008 iMac get along fine with any and all DNGs I throw at 
it. But I don't have a K5 II, just a K5. It should make no difference as DNG 
format is universal. Pentax/Ricoh cannot just "change" it for "their" cameras.
