I just lost mine. First time I've ever bought a new lens that wasn't attached to a camera.
A bit anti-climactic............ But... The Pentax rep (!!!!) in the shop spoke of the relationship with Ricoh. Allegedly, Pentax was specifically purchased to stuff Canon, the great rival in the office machine field. Every corporate event he has attended has had high-level Japanese attendees with Pentaxes slung about their person, when they didn't have a GR attached. If correct, it appears to bode well for the future of the marque.
