He doesn't discriminate, because by his own admission he doesn't know how to. He attacks an obvious and easy target without saying anything useful. It's lazy, boring, unoriginal and entirely without redeeming wit. You can read exactly this sort of 'naked Emperor' crap all the way back to at least the mid-19th century, and probably beyond, from people who don't get it, and decide to play to the gallery instead.
