I remember bemoaning the image buffer on my Oly E20n. That warranted some serious bemoaning.

Nowadays, if I get more than a three-shot burst, it's an accident. As much as I like the capability, I hate having all those images to go through.

I can definitely understand what others find it useful -- and why it'd be more more useful with the K-3's improved focusing. But, among the long list of reasons why I'd love to have the K-3, that one ranks near the bottom.

One of the more comical moments I can remember is taking shots at an event alongside a Nikon shooter who was wearing some kind of (Nikon-emblazoned) harness rig that looked like the bastard child of a tactical vest and an orthopedic back brace. He'd sidle up beside me and fire off about ten frames while I stood there taking individual shots of the same largely stationary figure with my K-x. I kept thinking to myself, "Boy, I sure hope that's not what you're supposed to do." I got the distinct impression that, if the guy hadn't discovered cameras, he'd be spending his days pissing on every tree on his block.

I've never saturated the K5 buffer and I always shoot RAW + JPG

Try shooting a live concert in high-fps-mode, trying to get a facial expression that doesn't look like the singer is being tortured, while standing (temporarily, you've told them) in front of some people who graciously said "no problem" when you asked if you could just sneak in for a half minute.

That's a true "fill the buffer" moment. I do it all the time!
