The question seems to boil down to why women and men are treated
differently as photographic subjects. Well, it's because they're different.

Damn! You're right, Walt. Symmetry is purely mathematical concept that applies to real life less often than one might think it would.

In fact, sometimes enforcing the equality spoils the otherwise delicate balance of things.
