Well, I agree with you that the world is somewhat unbalanced in this respect, and that is where the matter of free, informed consent comes into it. It's very difficult to know in any given instance whether someone is genuinely giving their consent freely, and I think I mentioned elsewhere the matter of peer pressure, society pressure and so on. I think on a matter like this, where the people involved are apparently well informed, and living in a liberal democracy, we have to presume that they are fully aware of the nature of what they're doing, and we shouldn't try to project our own reading of the situation and our own morals onto them. I imagine you mean 'you' in the general sense, rather than me specifically. I'm not upset that Frank brought it up - it's an important issue, but I think we have to be careful while striving to be well-meaning that we don't bend over so far that we either get our heads stuck somewhere, or that we turn into Puritans or the Taliban.
