Thank you, Ann.
I just didn't have nearly as much time (or moral rectitude) as I needed
to accomplish even 10% of what I'd hoped.
I'll eventually pare down the set to something a bit tighter. I always
have a hard time picking out the best shots immediately after having
taken them. So, I process the ones I like and get that much out of the
way, then go back through them after a little time passes and I'm able
to see the shots with a different perspective.

well you got the flavor of the place nicely but doesn't look like you
strayed too far from touristaville - though a few shots from the
Garden District? Bet you could get these down to 12-15 shots that
would strengthen the Geso overall. (take out all but one of that chick
dancing on the street, e.g. ) It's a fascinating city to be sure.

Hi all!
Got back last night and decided to go ahead and get started on the
photos from my little trip to New Orleans.
I didn't take as many as I'd intended, as I succumbed to the atmosphere
of the place and wound up spending the better part of my time in the
city at a jazz club called The Spotted Cat.
In any event, here's the set -- all taken on the K-5 with my F50/1.7 (as
usual).

I was pretty happy with the number of what I consider keepers -- a total
of 36.
Comments eagerly encouraged!
