I don't think we're going to get any snow around here, but they are
calling for the possibility of freezing rain.

Doesn't make for many good photos unless you're into broken tree limbs &
downed power lines.

I didn't have a camera when we had our big ice storm, back in 2008. But, I remember really wishing I did at the time.

Some of the scenery was absolutely beautiful and would have made for great photos. Unfortunately, trying to actually take photos in the aftermath would've meant putting your life at risk, with trees and branches falling constantly and everywhere.

I was actually hoping for a little more ice than we got this time around, so I could get some shots. But, we only ended up getting about ½" -- and that was covered with snow as the night went on.
