I've been using Chrome for quite a while now. It seems to work well. I
had problems with Firefox, though off the top of my head, I don't recall
what went sideways. I like Chrome well enough.
Did you try rebooting your machine and then relaunching IE?
About all I use IE for now is online banking, and that is because my
bank's website is broken and only works properly with Internet Explorer.
