I think it is still too early to tell which way you would go eventually. To 
avoid investing to heavily into any system and then regret, you might just 
purchase a few used but good lenses to do some portrait. If you are happy 
with MZ-M, you will gain little by purchasing more expensive cameras. There 
is a SMC PETAX-M 85/2 on eBay at the moment and it's a good lens.
