Great find, Mike.

Besides the excellent images, the most interesting part of this is his
technical explanations. Read the About section and take a look at his
blog articles. The other-worldly "clean" look comes from image
averaging that he does in Photoshop. Rather than use a noise reduction
plugin which softens images he averages a stack of identical raws to
eliminate any noise.

He goes decidedly hi-tech too: check out the upside down stool and
wooly flake-collection sweater. :-)
