Hmmm... ?? Didn't Topcon SLR's use leaf shutters? I realize that doesn't help you with your Pentax bodies; but if you would like to play with a leaf shutter SLR, Topcon's aren't expensive on ebay... $45-50 for a Topcon Unirex with a 50mm.
