Also, albums are a good way to differentiate yourself, as well as sell yourself to a more affluent market. A nice, custom-made bound leather (or wood veneer, or metal) album is going to put you in a different category than a generic pin-hinge job. I've thought about having cataloges so a couple could order an album. Around here...wedding shoots tend to be really traditional so having a leather-bound album is the norm. Every show I attended to spy has the same thing...black or brown leather album with a bunch of posed shots. Having a nice leather album won't set me apart here...mostly getting the important photos counts. I agree, though, that an album is important, and gives the couple something tangable. I'll have to look at places that put the album together as part of the order...at least I would be able to offer an album then.
