I gleaned a little-known factoid today from a book of essays about HCB that I'm reading.
This famous photo: http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/photographs/henri-cartier-bresson-cardinal-pacelli-in-montmarte-paris-5056800-details.aspx which was taken in 1938, several years after H started using a Leica, was shot with a glass-plate camera. Not only that, but it is also very extensively cropped. The book includes a print of the full negative, which I have photographed and put here: http://www.web-options.com/Pacelli.jpg On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say that's quite interesting.
