The more I thought about this the more it seems that it might be easier for someone starting out to ask some friends if they would like to earn a little money by getting dressed up. Plan the shots in advance, perhaps in a park. Or rent a church and put up a few flowers. It would probably be no more expensive than paying for pics. Could probably be done for < $500.
